Jiribam, January 14 2025: The JAC Oinamlong segment has vehemently condemned the decision of the concerned authorities to release only a sum of Rs 50 lakh out of the total amount of Rs 10 crore pending bills for wages of the workers engaged in Jal Jeevan Mission - New Development Bank project in Tousem Sub-Division of Tamenglong district.

Alumna Gangmei, advisor of JAC Oinamlong segment stated that the decision of the authorities to release a sum of only Rs 50 lakh for Oinamlong segment, Saramba segment, Magulong segment, Proper Tousem Segment and Phaitol segment out of the total amount of Rs 10 crore is unacceptable and condemned at the strongest term.

He continued that if the authorities concerned fail to pay the full due amount in the coming days, it will continue its agitation.
