Imphal, January 03 2024:
In the aftermath of the Lilong incident, the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has 'exiled' Md Hassan on the charge of having nexus with Kuki narco-terrorists and indulging in narco trade from 'Kangleipak' from January 10 onwards.
KCP, in a statement signed by its deputy secretary (IPR) M Punsiba Meitei, warned that they will take up strong action against Md Hassan if he is found in any part of 'Kangleipak' after January 10 .
Though KCP is deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the fatal incident at Lilong Chingjao on January 1, the outfit would like to share some dark facts about Md Hassan, s/o Md Habibur to enable the people to make an informed understanding on what might have led RPF/PLA to come after him, it added.
Claiming that Md Hassan has been under the radar of KCP for a long time for his role in narco trade, the outfit alleged that Md Hassan has many partners who supply him opium and other drugs apart from Kuki narco-terrorists.
The outfit further claimed that Md Hassan has many narcotics trade partners in West Bengal, where he regularly sends narcotic substances through his paid carriers from various places like Kwakta, Lilong and Sora.
For delivery of every kilogram of heroin, he reportedly pays around Rs 50 thousand, KCP claimed and alleged that some of his carriers were caught in West Bengal.
One of his carriers Md Jabir from Thoubal Khunou, who was caught in Kolkata and died at a Kolkata prison in 2020 after a long imprisonment, during which his "employer" Md Hassan didn't extend any help, the outfit claimed.
Further claiming that Md Hassan runs a laboratory somewhere in Lilong area, where opium is chemically processed to obtain "crude," which is needed to produce heroin, the KCP added that they have seen a video coverage of the massive multi-crore house of his.
It makes sense to assume that Md Hassan plans to use, or already uses, his massive house as a narcotics manufacturing laboratory, the KCP claimed and asked why would his (Md Hassan) family of five members live in a fortified complex with a 12-mm iron gate if not to run a drug laboratory.
Why didn't the law enforcement agencies investigate the source of income of Md Hassan who owns massive wealth till today, the KCP asked.
On the firing at Lilong, the outfit asked why didn't the Government agencies seal off the spot including the residence of the prime subject Md Hassan and why the law enforcers allegedly allowed his family and local henchmen to take away some suspicious items from inside the house of Md Hassan after the fatal incident.
Claiming that Md Hassan and his family might have erased all evidence of the presence of his narcotics laboratory inside his massive residence, the KCP asked why didn't Md Hassan's family and his henchmen hand over the DVR of the CCTV network of his residence to the police.
Some vested interest people are trying to drive a wedge between the already "sensitive" Meetei/Meitei and Pangal communities in the wake of the fatal firing incident, the KCP said and warned that the outfit will take serious actions against those who try to create friction between the two communities.
Reiterating that the Politburo Standing Committee of KCP has decided to exile Md Hassan from 'Kangleipak' from January 10 onwards for his role in narcotics trade and associating with Kuki narco-terrorists, the outfit warned that they will take up strong action if Md Hassan is found in any part of 'Kangleipak' after the aforementioned date.
