Decks have been cleared for conduct of the MBBS/BDS entrance examination against the State quotas in various medical institutions, tomorrow.
Talking to mediapersons in this connection here today, Health Director Y Yaima said question papers that were prepared and send from outside arrived at Imphal today and the same kept at the RD Wings with extra security arrangements.
It is said that the question papers on Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology, the four subjects in which the applicants would be writing the examination, have been properly arranged and kept at the RD Wing after being checked thoroughly by officials of the State Health Department in the presence of Commissioner of Health and the Health Director.
Informing that total number of applicants for the entrance test tomorrow is 3979 including 2233 girls and 1746 boys, the Health Director explained that there would be in all 25 questions for each of the four subjects and each question would carry 4 marks.
The total mark of the entrance examination is 400 and the duration is for 1 hour.
DM College of Arts, DM College of Commerce, DM College of Teacher Training Education, GP Women College, TG Higher Secondary School, Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School, Manipur College and Imphal College are the centres where the entrance examination would be held, he added.
