Imphal, January 22 2015:
Reacting to MLA Th Shyamkumar's declaration that he would resign from the post of MLA in case his certain demands are not fulfilled, the rival faction led by MLA Kh Joykisan has questioned if Shyamkumar was scheming to create divisions or destroy the party (AITC Manipur unit) .
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Joykisan said that the party looks divided to the people because of many internal wranglings and disputes.
He went on to ask whether Shyamkumar would retain the membership of AITC or join another party in case he resigns from the post of MLA.
Joykisan then asked Shyamkumar whether he would contest the by-election to Andro A/C or stay away from the by-election which would be necessitated in case he resigns from being an MLA.
The third question was whether Shyamkumar would resign again assuming that Shyamkumar is re-elected in the by-election and the Government continues with its present trend of functioning.
In case Shyamkumar resigns from being an MLA after disbanding the party, he should be held accountable for all the untoward incidents resulting thereof, said the party's general secretary Kh Jeken.
