Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan continues

As part of the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA), the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, in collaboration with Freefly Northeast, Manipur organized a comprehensive health camp at TS Paul Manipur Women's College, Mongsangei.
During the camp, doctors from multiple specialties, along with refractionist and pharmacists, provided preventive consultations and treatment to over 80 students and staff.
A School Health Awareness Programme was also conducted at TG Higher Secondary School, engaging 157 students and teachers through interactive sessions on menstrual hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and organ donation.
Free sanitary pads and multivitamins were also distributed during the programme.
At 143 Battalion, CRPF, Lamphelpat, RIMS doctors delivered insightful talks on women's health screening, maternal and child care, mental well-being, and nutrition in connection with "Poshan Maah".
Ongoing services such as ABHA digital ID registration, NCD screening, and a genderbased violence and legal aid desk were also highlighted.
Moreover, Upper Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Singjamei under the guidance of District Health Society, Imphal West organised a special health camp at the community hall of College Road Youths' Development Association (CRYDA), Chingamathak today.
The camp conducted in connection with the SNSPA was attended by dignitaries, including Singjamei AC MLA Yumnam Khemchand Singh, CRYDA president K Ajit Kumar Sharma and Dr Y Keshorjit Singh, District Family Welfare Officer, Imphal West.
The camp provided Gynaecology, Eye, ENT, Medicine, Dermatology, Surgery and general health check-up services, along with children's vaccinations, immunisation.
ABHA card and PMJAY processing was also carried out.
The camp benefited over 200 patients.
