Ready to launch stir: KISG, SANPO

The joint committee of Kuki Inpi, Saikul Gamkai (KISG) and Saikul Area Naga Peoples Organisation (SANPO) informed all concerned that the representation submitted to the Chief Minister of Manipur as a reminder on the problem of police district boundary and police stations jurisdictions have been kept in the cold-storage by the Government till today.
"This indifferent attitude of the government on this genuine demand is very unfortunate which will bring adverse consequence in the future," both the organisations stated.
KISG and SANPO said they are fully prepared and was supposed to launch its second phase of agitations after November 30 with the support of civil society organizations and the people.
"However, in view of the approaching Christmas festival and final examinations of schools and colleges, the joint committee have decided to put on the hold the proposed agitation for sometime in the every best interest of the public.
The joint committee is of the view that creating disturbances/problems due to arrogant and indifferent attitude of the state government during examinations and festive seasons is not an appreciateable move.
Hence, the decision for delay of the agitation for sometime," KISG and SANPO stated.
In this regard, both the bodies said the proposed agitation will be launched without further delay soon after the festive season and the examinations are over.
"For which the joint committee of KISG andSANPO has completed all necessary arrangements.
It is appealed to all civil organizations, villages chiefs and the public to extend co-operation and support as when the agitation is started," they stated.
