MAYOL's long march reaches Maya ng Imphal

Imphal, January 03 2024:
The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL)-organised long march flagged off from Kangla with the message of national regeneration reached Mayang Imphal on Wednesday.
The 15th day of the march was flagged off jointly from the premises of Panthoibi Youth Club, Bashikhong by club president Toijam Ibochou and secretary Takhellambam Bidur.
The march ended for the day at Mayang Imphal after passing through Kyamgei, Lilong Chajing, Lilong Haoreibi, Samurou, Wangoi and Yumnam Huidrom.
As, a part of the march, public meetings were held at Wangoi Bazar community hall and Khuman mini stadium, Mayang Imphal.
The public meeting at Wangoi Bazar community hall was attended by Hueiyen Lanpao editor Dhanabir Maibam and Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup president Lourembam Nganbi as main speakers while Lilong Higher Secondary School principal Dr Shanta and League of Indigenous Peoples' Upliftment (LIPUL) president Th Somorendro spoke at the meeting held at Khuman mini stadium, Mayang Imphal.
It may be mentioned that MAYOL's long march began from December 20 from Kangla and will cover the valley areas of Manipur.
The long march will conclude at the final resting place of Maharaj Gambhir Singh located at Canchipur on January 9 .
