Chandel DSA League 2015 kicks off

Chandel, July 21 2015 : Chandel District Sports Association League kicked off from Tuesday at Japhou's Maha Union Government Higher Secondary School playground.

The opening ceremony which was graced by leader of the Democratic Alliance of Chandel (DAC), KSM Matthew Maring, MDC, ADC Chandel as Chief guest.

Elected MDC Ts Kanlun and Ts Willingson were also present at the inaugural function.

All together 22 clubs affiliated to the association are taking part in the league that would go on till August 17.Of the 22 clubs, Panchai SCC (PSCC), Paraolon FC (PFC), Kapaam DC (KDC), Riverlane Youth Club (RYC) and Chandel Khullen YC (CKYC) were group in Pool A. Pool B included Little Drop Life (LDLFC), Japhou Youth Club(JYC), Lambung YCC (LYCC), Sirti FC (SFC) and Maring Lhouyang FC (MLFC).

In Pool C, United Football club (UFC), FC Kanankhu (FCK), Chengkhu YC (CYC), Monsang Pantha YC ( MPYC), Ziontlang SYS ( ZSYS) and Liwa Sarei YC ( LSYC).

Chakpikarong Yc (CKPYC), Changning YC (CYC), United Lamkang FC (UIFC), New Wangparal (NW), Hnahringkhu YC (HYC) and Chandel Christian YC (CCYC) group were set for Pool D .

PSCC beat PFC 1-0 in today's opening match.

Lastngam (Jr No 10) netted the solitary goal for his team PSCC in the 39th min.

P Dani and Wanghring of PSCC and Bengam of PFC were shown Yellow card for unsporting conduct by the referee.
