UCC, Uripok and TDCA carved out comfortable victories against their respective opponents in league round matches of the Dr Kishan Memorial State Level Cricket Tournament played today.
After UCC batsmen piled up the tournament's highest score of 315 for 9 in the 50 over game against Force (Kshetrigao) at Khuman Lampak, eventual man of the match winner Ashiwini spearheaded the Uripok bowling attack with a matchwinning figure of seven scalps in his seven over spell.
Force could manage only 65 runs before being bowled out in the 18th over.
Earlier, Satro's 91-ball 118 helped UCC score the tournament's highest total.
At Luwangpokpa ground, TDCA defeated ESU by 93 runs.
Chasing TDCA's total of 205 runs, the Wangkhei side was scuttled out for a paltry 133 runs on board.
Rahman's knock of 81 runs off 103 deliveries earned him man of the match award.
