Manipur to clash Mizoram in U-14 final

Imphal, December 18 2011:
The U-14 Manipuri girls' football team entered final while U-17 team exited in the semi final round in the 57th National Inter School Games Meet-2011 hosted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports under the aegis of Federation of School Games, India at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.
In U-14 category, Manipur girls beat Nagaland with a solitary goal and entered final.
The solitary goal of Manipur was won by N Ratanmala in the 56th minute of the match.
In the second semi final match, Mizoram beat Goa 2-0 and entered final.
The two goals of Mizoram were scored by Valaneduati and F Lalmuawpuii in the 28th and 44th minutes of the match.
Manipur and Mizoram will play the final match tomorrow.
However, Manipur girls team of U-17 could not make it to the final as they got defeated to Nagaland in penalty shootout in the first semi final match played today after the match ended into a goalless draw in normal time.
In the penalty shootout, Th Romi and Th Devajani of Manipur could only edged the ball passed the goalline while Lhaitinglam, Neisakhonuo and Lilo of Nagaland hit the target.
The second semi final match which was played between Bihar and Haryana also ended up in a draw with the scoreline at 2-2 in normal time.
Penalty shootout was postponed due to improper light.
The two goals of Bihar were scored by Putul Kumari and Tara Khatoon in the 48th and 58th minutes of the match.
While the two goals of Haryana were scored by Sanju and Munesh in the 14th and 28th minutes of the match.
