AS THE ongoing 7th OFA cup 2009 organised by Oriental Football Academy (OFA), Pungdongbam entered its third day, YYC, Yourabung beat DTFA in the first match while RAI Bros and PRSC shared a draw in the second match.
The first match was played between DTFA, Awang Potsangbam and YYC, Yourabung.
YYC won the match after defeating DTFA 3-1 .
The first 30 minutes of the first half was played with equal skills and tactics by both team.
But YYC players played the match dominantly.
They tried at various moments several goal attempts.
As the match progress, Naoba of YYC open the scoreboard in the 32nd minute by scoring the first goal of the match against DTFA.
Players of DTFA tried at their best to equalise the score position.
but they began to lose their heart when Naoba again score another goal against DTFA in the 49th minute of the match.
No further goals were scored by both team till the end of the first half.
DTFA players played the second half with new tactics and tried to equalise the score position.
But they found it hard to face the skilled players of YYC.
Their hearts almost sank when Ratan of YYC scored his team's third goal against DTFA in the 65th minute.
But they do not lose their heart and tried at their best to score goals against YYC.
As a result of their hard efforts, they managed to score one goal against YYC in the 71st minute of the match from a penalty kick.
It was scored by Jackychand of DTFA.
They tried their best but could not scored any further goal and lose the match to YYC.
The second match was a drawn match between RAI Bros, Pangei and PRSC, Pourabi with score position 2-2 .
Both team's players played the match with equal skills and tactics.
They found it hard to dominate over one another.
Spectators witnessed a raging match between the two teams.
The first goal of the match was scored by Sothe of RAI Bros in the 39th minute of the match.
However hard the players of PRSC tried to equalise the score they could not scored a single goal against RAI Bros in the first half.
But their hard efforts did not went into vain as Gyaneshwar of PRSC scored one goal against RAI Bros in the 53rd minute.
But their joys were short-lived as Doren of RAI Bros scored his team's second goal in the 59th minute.
Tyson of PRSC scored his team's second goal in the 69th minute and no further goals were scored by both team.
The match concluded with the two teams sharing a draw.
