Imphal, October 25:
State archer Laishram Bombayla Devi representing India in the 3rd Asian Grand Prix Archery Championship at the Iranian capital Tehran bagged a gold medal in the FITA Olympic Round competition on the championship's final day today.
The competition was held since October 20.The State's ace archer tallied 110 points in the final round pipping her nearest rival from Jordan by seven points for the title triumph.
It may be mentioned that Bombayla had already earned a berth in the event for the Beijing Olympic Games next year.
