Orientation programme

A two-day orientation training programme on life skill education and climate change/global warming concluded today at Mongpijang village, Sadar Hills.
Altogether, 70 persons attended the programme that was organised jointly by the Mongpijang Village Development Committee and World Vision of India, Sadar Hills ADP.
S Paominthang Vaiphei, Project Manager, JARDA, Ccpur and T Romen Meitei, National Youth Awardee and founder secretary of Socio-Economic and Environmental Development Organisation (SEEDO) were the two main resource persons of the programme.
Speaking at the function, L Michael Singh, CDC-World Vision of India, Sadar Hills ADP stressed on the need to impart life skill awareness among the masses in the wake of climate change.
The resource persons also emphasised on the need to tackle serious environmental problems that afflicted the society.
