Lup hails renovation of Manipur Rajbari

Imphal, September 09 2021: Ibudhou Pakhangba Thougal Lup, Shillong has hailed the decision of the state government to renovate Manipur Rajbari in Shillong.

Issuing a statement in this regard, the organisation welcomed the recent announcement of chief minister N Biren to renovate the long-ignored Manipur Rajbari in Shillong, which is a historically important structure for Manipur.

It also thanked Shillong Manipuri Students' Union (SMSU) and Manipuri elders in Shillong for their contribution in safeguarding the building and its surrounding.

The organisation also thanked Nongthombam Dwijamani, who played a key role in bringing out important documents related with the Rajbari.
