Bobin to voice for tradition

Institute of Performing Arts and Music (IPAM) will organise a concert of popular singer Bobin, entitled Shan chang-e at Manipur Film Development Corporation (MFDC) here on November 2 .
Shan chang-e is a concert based on traditional songs and dances.
Informing this to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Bobin said that IPAM is the organiser of the event and the fund collected from the concert would conduct a free one-month or three-month vocational training course for art and music lovers.
IPAM is planning to conduct a free one-month coaching camp for them this December as well.
With the support of elders, November 2 concert has an objective to gather atleast some support in protecting indigenous people from the increasing number of foreigners in the State.
The audience of Bobin's 'Shan chang-e' will also be mesmerised by noted singer Naba Volcano including Khaidem Thoiba, Sushmita, Tingkoo, Pushparani, Surba, Nandeshwori, Monalisa etc.
