Tamenglong to resume non-cooperation movement

Tamenglong, October 30 2013:
Taking seriously note over the State Government's decision to take over the Tamenglong- Khongsang from BRO by the state PWD, the village chairmen land owners residing along the Tamenglong- Khongsang road submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister of Manipur through the Deputy Commissioner, Tamenglong.
The memo signed by Kiungampou Gonmei, Chairman of Khongsang village authority; Kakangam Pamei, Chairman of Namkaoluang (Keikao) village authority; Lungdimang Gonmei, Chairman of Sangrungpang village authority; Rapanlung Panmei, Chairman Chaengdai village authority; Thiujanang Gonmei, Chairman of Kahulong village authority; Keiramsinang Gangmei, Chairman Chiuluan village authority; Thuanku Gangmei, Chairman Khangchiuluan village authority and Guitiu Gonmei, Chairman Duigailong village authority demanded the Chief Minister to immediately revoke the decision.
The memorandum also warned of resuming non-cooperation movement in case the work implementing agency of Tamenglong- Khongsang road is change from BRO to PWD.
