Imphal, October 30 2013:
Lalkhomang Serto, who has been elected unopposed as the president of Komrem Union (NE), has vowed the neutrality of the apex tribal body.
Komrem comprises of Kom, Aimol, Chiru, Kharam, Purum and Koireng.
Today, Serto was administered the oath of office as president by the executive secretary of Komrem Baptist Churches Association (KRBCA) at Tribal Research Institute (TRI), in Imphal.

Addressing the gathering, Serto said he would extend his utmost level to bring about a peaceful co-existence among all communities of the State.
A resident of Sagang village in Churachandpur district, 53-year-old Serto also emphasised the need to develop all roads leading to Komrem dominated villages of the State.
