Imphal, June 19 2011:
An amount of Rs 5000 has been donated by All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association to meet the medical expenses of Ngampao Haokip, who is presently at RIMS Hospital undergoing treatment for injuries he reportedly sustained in a landmine blast in Jessami area on February 18 .
While handing over the assistance amount, Association's acting president NK Gojendra also assured that the Association volunteers will provide requisite unit of blood to Ngampao, who is awaiting a major operation likely to be conducted on June 21 under the supervision of Dr N Ibomcha.
