Aid offered to landmine victim

Imphal, June 19 2011:
The All Manipur Gymnasium Association, Khagempalli today offered monetary assistance of Rs 5000 and three bottles of blood to Nganpao Haokip (17) of Lonpi village, Chandel district, a landmine victim who has lost his left leg and right hand.
Nganpao Haokip is undergoing treatment in the Orthopaedic ward of RIMS hospitals.
A team of the association led by its acting president AK Gojendra visited the victim in the hospital ward today and offered the assistance.
Surgery of his right leg will be held on June 22 as the condition worsens.
