Samuk VA bans

Imphal, November 12 2013:
The Samuk (Tucha) Village Authority, Senapati district has informed all concerned that unauthorised activities like felling timbers, poaching of wild animals, fishing, quarrying of stone and other forest products would be banned within its jurisdiction with immediate effect from Nov 13, 2013.According to a statement issued by the Samuk VA, the ban has been imposed as the activities caused disturbances to natural environment around the village, which is a catchment area of Singda river.
The VA would not be held responsible for any trespass/violation of the order, it cautioned.
