Imphal, November 12 2013:
In exercise of IMC Cleanliness and Sanitation Bye-laws 2011, the Imphal Municipal Council (IMC) has announced to impose penalties against any person who litters public road or places, sticks posters or banners or hoardings.
Meanwhile, the IMC has informed all concerned Govt depts, general public, NGOs that any person who encroached the road side of NHs, State Highways and other public roads within the jurisdiction of the IMC by stacking construction materials/debris or by projection or by obstruction or by depositing movable properties to remove the same within two days.
