Imphal, July 26 2009:
Against the backdrop of the drought-like situation in the state, the AMADA has urged all concerned to ban the use of rice in brewing liquor and to stop the export of local rice from the state.
A statement issued by the publicity and propaganda secretary of AMADA, K Hemabati Chanu stated that food must be stocked up in order to face any eventuality happening next year due to poor harvest this year.
