Zomi Students Federation on-Saturday warned that it will toughen its stand from Monday and will impose a ban on all Government vehicles except sanitary, medical and fire Departments as the Government has still not fulfilled their demands, despite already imposing a 24 hours general strike, ban on all works related to PWD and boycott of Works Minister K Ranjit, reports our corre spondent.
The student body's decision to ban Government vehicles including vital departments such as electricity and PHE, accord ing to an inside source, was was adopted to make their point to the Government.
Handing over of Guite Road construction to the BRO, un conditional apology from Works Minister K Ranjit, denying any Cabinet decision with regard to Guite Road and scrapping of the Cabinet's decision to deploy IRBs and Commandos in hill districts were the three point demands the federation has put forward.
