Convoy moves

Imphal, August 10, 2013:
With the 24 hour bandh called by the Mao Council in protest against the killing of NSCN-KK's Lt Col Pfokreho James coming to an end this morning, convoy of oil tankers and LPG bullet tankers which were stranded at Makhan crossed Mao gate with CRPF escorts today.
In the meantime, Imphal bound loaded oil tankers and LPG bullet tankers which were stranded at Khuzuma, Nagaland crossed Mao and reached Imphal today.
Altogether 20 diesel tankers, 20 petrol tankers, three SK oil tankers and three LPG bullet tankers arrived here today.
Meanwhile, information received from IOC's Imphal depot said that security arrangements have been made to bring in all loaded tankers which are currently enroute to Imphal before the UNC's bandh begins.
