CCpur, March 27 2023: Around 10 grams of brown sugar and 198 WY tablets were seized by Churachandpur police from the possession of a married woman at about 5 pm yesterday.

Acting on inputs that a woman was selling drugs from her residence located at Jordan Veng, New Lamka, a team of Churachandpur police accompanied by a gazetted officer raided the house and arrested one Melody Vungnemkim (45) w/o T Kamsuanlian of Jordan Veng, New Lamka after brown sugar packed in 10 khaini cans and 198 WY tablets were recovered from her house.
