Jiribam, November 14 2010:
The Longmai Area Village Authority Council (LAVAC) and the Zeliangrong Students' Union Longmai Area (ZSULA) have flayed the district administration of Tamenglong for not providing relief to the flood affected people of Longmai (Noney).
The two bodies urged the district administration to disburse relief materials at the earliest before patience of the people runs out.
Meanwhile, at least 166 rice laden trucks of FCI bound for Imphal left Jiribam today with security escorts provided by Manipur Rifles, reports our correspondent.
