Imphal, November 14 2010:
Meitei Council Moreh has urged the State Government to take up necessary measures to avoid any communal flare-up between the villagers of Leibi village and Kwatha village.
The council said that the villagers of these two villages are having some qualms on the issue of village boundary.
Urging the villagers to maintain calm, the council also appealed the Government to finalise demarcation of boundary at the earliest to avoid any scuffle.
