Imphal, July 12 2015 :
The All Manipur Light Vehicles Transporters' and Drivers' Welfare Association has said that the ongoing people's movement cannot be suppressed with the imposition of curfew.
In a statement, the association said that the curfew has given lots of hardship to poor people.
Now students are worried about their academic year due to the present volatile situation, the association said.
As such, instead of imposing repressive policies, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi must amend the controversial Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Workers Bill 2015, it added.
