Imphal, July 12 2015 :
Deeply condoling the death of Sapam Robinhood, Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch has urged the supporters of the pro-ILPS movement not to give unnecessary harassments to medical staff including doctors, nurses, OT Technicians, Pharmacists and Lab Technicians etc.
In a statement, the association said that these medical staff have been rendering valuable service to the general public.
The association also urged the protesters not to detain and damage ambulances.
The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union has also urged all not to target media persons who are out on duty.
