Imphal, September 10, 2009:
A sum of Rs 11,100 and two mobile phone hand-sets looted by Tingkaojuan Dangmei s/o Guangbi Dangmei of Noney Bazar from Thangmilun Haokip (27) and Denmang Haokip who were travelling in a Tata winger at Awang-khul village along NH 53 at about 9 am of September 3 have been recovered from the looter by the Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur and returned to the passengers, said a ZSUM release.
It further appealed to all concerned to stop all acts of robbery and extortion along NH 53.
