State education Minister, L Jayentakumar today appealed review the indefinite class boycott stir launch by AMSU even as the stir has entered its second day.
Speaking to a press conference held today at his official quarter at Babupara, the minister said preventing students from going to school and stopping their study will bring nothing good in the society.
Education is the backbone of developing a society.
Let make education a free zone and save the children who are the pillar of the future nation.
If students could not learn today, they will not able to compete with the students of other state, the minister observed.
He also called upon to bring an end the conflicting matters through negotiation reiterating his appeal to keep education outside the purview of the ongoing people agitations.
It is not logical to boycott class by the student with the people agitation behind, he added.
During the press conference minister also talked at length about various the plan and schemes for bringing quality education in the state.
