The acts of suspected KCP (MC) cadres serving quit notice to villagers of Mapou village after assaulting them was tantamount to challenge the integrity of the state.
The National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO), in a statement today condemned it.
While reiterating strong dissatisfaction to acts of armed groups to the villagers of Mapou, the statement signed by publicity and information secretary of NIPCO, Ningthoujam Basanta also appealed the responsible group to reconsider the quit notice served to the villagers and bring an amicable solution through talks.
