Ex-minister M Manihar no more

Kakching, March 13 2022:
Former minister Mayengbam Manihar Singh passed away on Sunday afternoon at his ancestral residence at Wabagai Teraushak.
He was 85.Manihar was elected for the first time in 1984 as Independent candidate from Wabagai AC.
He was elected again in 1990 on INC ticket and became deputy speaker-of Manipur Legislative Assembly.
Manihar also tasted electoral success in 2000 as INC candidate and became the minister of veterinary & animal husbandry and art & culture.
Meanwhile, several Wabagai based organisations have deeply condoled the sudden demise of Manihar and shared the pains and grief of the bereaved family.
