Free medical camp held at Parsain village

With an aim to meet the basic medical needs of thousands people in remote areas, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization Manipur (Medical Cell) conducted a free medical camp today at Parsain village located at the foothills of Mt Koubru range in Champhai sub-division, Kangpokpi.
The free medical camp conducted under the theme "Love all, serve all, help ever, hurt never" at Saraswati Upper Primary School, Parsain village was kicked off in the presence of BP Vikas Basnet, Executive Member, ADC Sadar Hills who attended the inaugural occasion as chief guest.
Apart from social worker Pashupati Dhital and Bimol Basnet, various Nepali CSOs leaders and village chairmen/secretaries also attended the inaugural function of the free medical camp where around 300 patients were examined.
Free medicines and basic clothing were provided free of costs to the patients and needy people at the camp.
Blood grouping and examination of Hepatitis B and C were also conducted by M/S Padma Diagnostic Centre, Manipur during the camp.
Laxmi Prasad Khatiwada, chairman, Santolabari-Parsian Area Village Development Committee, on behalf of the people expressed gratitude to Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Manipur (Medical Cell) for organising the free medical camp which benefited the poor and needy people of Santolabari-Parsain area.
He also conveyed gratitude to M/S Padma Diagnostic Centre, Manipur for their enthusiastic participation in the free medical camp.
"The free medical camp and the collective efforts of all stakeholders mean a lot to the people of Santolabari-Parsain area.
Medical facilities have been the need of the people in the area and this programme has hugely helped the people," he said.
