Coaching centre inaugurated

With the aim of catering quality education to the students of backward communities, particularly the Meitei Pangal community of the State, a coaching centre called Ideal Coaching Centre was inaugurated at Mantripukhri, near IT Park today.
The inaugural function of the coaching centre was graced by Wangkhei A/C MLA Okram Henry, social worker Alhaj Md Bashir Khan, DDU, Kaushal Kendra Director Dr Raheij Uddin Sheikh (Shamu), Manipur Finance Service officer Md Ziour Rahman, retired SP Ishak, Thoubal College Associate Professor Dr Md Latif and Lamlong Higher Secondary School Lecturer Nasrin Begum among others as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Speaking at the function, MLA Henry underscored the importance of establishing qualitative educational institutions in the State in the effort to produce deserving/productive people in the society for a better tomorrow.
He went on to say that students and guardians are in search of best educational institutions where the essentialities/requirements of this highly competitive world could be catered.
Establishment of the coaching centre will encourage the students of the Meitei Pangal community as well as other students of the State, he said adding that productive and deserving students will come out anytime if teachers teach sincerely.
Henry also assured that he will consult the authorities of the coaching centre from time to time and extend all possible help to enhance the coaching centre.
Md Abdul Latif highlighted the inconveniences face by the students of Meitei Pangal community in attending/joining tuitions and coaching classes due to lack of adequate and qualitative tuition centres near their areas.
Saying that the establishment of Ideal Coaching Centre will go a long way towards/quite beneficial in meeting such inconveniences by the community, he asked the authorities of the coaching centre to give special focus on personality development and moral education of the students apart from imparting academic education.
He also asked the authorities of the coaching centre to create an internet portal of its own so the students can further ask or enquire to the teachers anytime whenever they have any doubts.
The parents too will get an opportunity to link with the teachers and management of the coaching centre through the portal, he added.
