Security measures beefed up

DGP LM Khaute has said that the necessary security measured have been taken up to maintain law and order during the last day of the Assembly session which will be held tomorrow.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, DGP LM Khaute informed that necessary security measures have been taken up to maintain law and order during the Assembly session.
It may be mentioned that MUSU had announced to launch intensified agitation/protest on the ground that their demand was not taken up in the Assembly.
Meanwhile, Imphal West traffic SP K Sarma has ordered a ban on entry of any kind of private vehicles along the roads leading Manipur Legislative Assembly complex tomorrow.
According to an information from Imphal West traffic, the ban will be imposed from morning till the Assembly proceeding concludes.
Entry of any private vehicles from Khoyathong crossing to Assembly complex and from Khonang Ahni Karak to Assembly complex will be blocked.
During the said time, restriction has also been imposed against passage of any heavy vehicles at Minuthong and Lamlong Bridge.
