PLA leader held in Agartala

A senior leader of the Manipurbased insurgent outfit People's Liberation Army (PLA) was arrested from a rented house at Usha-Bazaar here, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house and caught Kamjam Sharat Mangang, who is associated with the PLA for the past 21 years and is currently functioning as its 'Assistant Finance Secretary', yesterday.
Police seized two mobile phones, four SIM cards with international roaming facility and five diaries.
The PLA leader was staying in the rented house for the past four months along with his daughter who is a student of the Tripura Medical College, police said.
