TSE proprietor lends helping hand with human touch

Imphal, April 19 2020:
To provide relief amidst the lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak, proprietor of The Sangai Express, Nishikant Singh Sapam has distributed 25 kg of rice each and other edible items to 45 households of Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Sega road today.
The relief materials were provided to selected households in the locality which have been left with no means of livelihood due to the lockdown, said Nishikant assuring further assistance to such households.

He distributed the relief materials to members of the 45 households at Anoubam Mandap with assistance of Thouda Bhabok Leikai Chaokhat Thourang Kanglup today morning.
Each household was provided 25 kg rice, 2 kg - cabbage, 1 kg onion, 1 kg pulses, 1 litre edible oil, 1 package salt, 1 soap and drinking water.
The materials were also delivered to homes of those who couldn't come to collect them.
Appealing those in need to personally approach him or contact the newspaper for availaing relief materials, Nishikant said he will continue to lend a helping hand to those who have been worst affected by the lockdown.
He also appealed all to help their neighbours and others in need and face COVID-19 collectively.
