Public eager to see change in Khurai: Jayananda

Maintaining that the people of Khurai assembly constituency want a change towards development and NPP will win the ensuing election owing to its commitment with a vision and issue-based approach, said NPP candidate for the AC Laitonjam Jayananda.
Speaking at his flag hoisting ceremony held at his Khurai Konsam Leikai residence on Tuesday, Jayananda highlighted that the NPP is contesting the election with an issue-based approach while taking into account the public sentiment.
While claiming that his support base is growing day by day as the people of Khurai believe in his action plans, he expressed confidence of getting mandate of the Khurai voters to realise their dream for bringing change.
Further asserting that NPP will lead the next government in the state, Jayananda assured of prioritising projects related to education, economy, skill development and entrepreneurship in order to bring all round development in the constituency if he got elected.
He called upon the public to teach a right lesson to those who are relying on money and muscle power to win the elections.
Maintaining that he has received several information regarding mismanagement of MLA local area development fund through RTI application, Jayananda said that he will bring out those information to the public domain soon.
He also said that using bombs and guns to intimidate him will not work as long as he gets public support.
