The State Health Directorate has started making preparations for the smooth conduct of the MBBS/BDS Entrance Examination, 2005 to select the State nominees on May 30.Informing this to media-persons today, Health Minister L Nandakumar disclosed that the Directorate had issued a total of 3900 application forms and so far 2000 application forms have been submitted.
The last date of submission of form is tomorrow.
The entrance test would be conducted in nine different designated centres.
These are TG Higher Secondary School, Ramlal Paul Higher Secondary School, Johnstone Higher Secondary School, Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy, Ibotonsana Girls� Higher Secondary School and the examination hall of MPSC.
In case, these nine centres are insufficient to accommodated all the candidates, LMS Law College would be considered as an additional centre, the Minister said.
The medical entrance examination would be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on May 30 and to ensure its smooth conduct one Magistrate would de deputed in each centre, the Minister said, adding that concerned departments have also been instructed for providing the necessary security coverage.
The Minister also informed that efforts would also be made to declare the results of the entrance test on the day of the examination itself so that there is no room for mark tempering and corruption.
