Imphal, June 17 2021:
On the 20th anniversary of the Great June 18 Uprising, the Politburo Standing Committee of the Kangleipak Communist Party, paid a solemn tribute to the great 18 martyrs, who made the supreme sacrifice towards thwarting the evil plot of the colonial Government of India to violate the territorial sanctity of Kangleipak so as to appease a particular insurgent group.
A press communique issued by Ibungo Ngangom, chairman of the committee, said that what unfolded on that fateful day in the heart of Imphal sent a strong but unambiguous message to the colonial Government and other entities shamelessly eyeing the territory of Kangleipak that the territorial integrity of 'our land is absolutely sacrosanct and non-negotiable to the real people of Kangleipak.
However, as long as Kangleipak remains under the colonial yoke of India, we cannot afford to drop our guard, especially because the colonial Government of India may try to play one ethnic community of Kangleipak against another, in which case our common territorial integrity will come under more serious threat, he added.
Saying that some evil vested interests are also hell-bent on creating frictions and sowing the seeds of animosity among different ethnic communities of Kangleipak, he urged the people of Kangleipak to remain vigilant against such divisive elements so that their evil designs can never come to fruition.
Lastly, the Kangleipak Communist Party reminded every ethnic community of Kangleipak that 'we are all in the same boat.
So let us not rock it as we sail or sink together.
