Imphal, December 19 2021:
Black-topping of few roads when condition of majority of the roads in Kshetrigao AC has deteriorated beyond repair would not serve any purpose and it would be better to skip the idea of winning election by carrying out such publicity stunts, stated ex-MLA of Kshetrigao AC Md Amin Shah, who is preparing to contest the upcoming assembly election on INC ticket.
Addressing a one-day political conference organised jointly by Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee and Kshetrigao Election Committee Party II at Sabal Leikai Saida ground on Sunday, Amin Shah said that roads and bridges in Kshetrigao AC have deteriorated badly and this is being witnessed by people of the constituency.
However, the present MLA is trying to black-top some roads ahead of the election after remaining silent for nearly five years, he said, adding that it would be better for the incumbent MLA to stop doing such works as it would be futile to hope that people would be impressed.
The political conference was also attended by Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee president and other functionaries as well as important functionaries of MPCC and prominent personalities of the constituency.
