InSIDE NE donates 10 DCs to KP1 health centres

Kangpokpi, September 02 2021:
InSIDE North East, a non-profit organisation from Saikul in Kangpokpi district, donated 10 oxygen concentrators (OCs) to various health centres in Kangpokpi district on Thursday through the district administration.
After the DCs were handed over at his office, Kangpokpi DC Somorjit Salam allocated the same to; Kangpokpi district hospital, CHC Saikul, Kangpokpi Christian Hospital and Covid Care Centre of Leikop.
The handing over ceremony was also attended by CMO Kangpokpi Dr Aneng Haokip, InSIDE NE director Hejang Misao and other officials of district administration and medical officers.
DC Somorjit thanked Umeed Project and Crypto Relief India based at Delhi for contributing life-saving equipment with the help and coordination of InSIDE North East and said that the district has been facing shortage of such life-saving equipment.
He also said that Kangpokpi district had been facing shortage in human resources as well earlier but somehow that has been made up though there is still shortage of life-saving equipment.
He acknowledged contributions of various other NGOs as well and said that the contribution of Umeed Project, Crypto Relief India and InSIDE NE is the biggest so far, the district has received in the fight against COVID-19 .
Meanwhile, Hejang Misao said that InSIDE NE cannot remain silent when people are suffering and dying due to COVID-19 and hence it connected with Umeed Project and Crypto Relief India to reach out to more than 3,000 families in Manipur, especially the vulnerable families.
With the help of Umeed Project and Crypto Relief India, InSIDE NE could provide various medical kits to vulnerable families apart from providing oxygen concentrators to various health centres.
He also thanked Umeed Project and Crypto Relief India for their untiring and relentless support.
