All Manipur Nupi Marup urges to roll back price hike of cooking gas cylinders

All Manipur Nupi Marup urged the BJP led Government to revoke the order of the hike in cooking gas cylinders at the earliest.
Strongly denouncing the hike of the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 25 (Rupees twenty five) in a span of less than a month, the All Manipur Nupi Marup in a press release said that the exorbitant price hike of cooking gas will have an adverse effect in the middle class and poor households especially the poor Indian women who bears the burden of managing the household.
The women body also that the cost of cooking gas was Rs 410 only per cylinder when the Narendra Modi led Central Government came into power however the cost of one cooking gas cylinder have reached Rs 1036 now with a steep hike of more than 130 percent which is really unfortunate.
The Nupi Marup further stated that in the name of the Ujjwala Scheme, women from poor households have been deprived of other benefits which they used to avail earlier and such a scheme was introduced by the Central Government to deceive the people for mere gain political benefits.
It further expressed discontent that amid the ongoing Nation wide protest to roll back the earlier price hike of cooking gas cylinders, the recent revision of the price is not called for and is an act against the people.
