Full dress rehearsal of 'Keidoubagi Kidoino' held

Full dress rehearsal of a Shumang Kumhei play based on Covid-19 awareness titled "Keidoubagi Kidoino" was held on Saturday at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound.
The play is all set to be premiered very soon.
Padmashri awardee and Manipur State Shumang Leela Council (MSSLC) Academic Sub-Committee chairman Wareppa Naba is the consultant of the play.
The play is directed by Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Sh Hemanta while Ranjit Ningthouja is the script writer of the play, which is produced under the aegis of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), with the advice of chief minister N Biren Singh.
The play "Keidoubagi Kidoino" narrates about the existing concepts/habits of the public during this pandemic.
It also highlights the initiatives which are being taken up by the government to combat the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
The play which has been scripted for Covid awareness will be played in the form of infotainment by selected renowned Shumang Leela artistes of Manipur.
IPR director Balkrishna Heisnam and deputy director Lairenlakpam Ashokumar and other officials of DIPR also attended the full dress rehearsal session of the play.
Later, IPR director and his team interacted with the director, playwright, consultant and artistes of the play.
This play is totally funded and organised by the Information and Public Relations Department.
