Aid provided to C-zones, CHICs, CCC, police

Organisations and individuals continued to provide aid to people in containment zones, Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC), Covid Care Centre (CCC) and police.
On Sunday, AMSU Singjamei Branch under the aegis of AMSU Imphal West District provided edibles, masks and sanitizers to CHIC of Singjamei assembly constituency while Ching Tam Women's Development Association Manipur in collaboration with social activist, philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr Alyson Abonmai with the support of Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar distributed edible items to staff and patients at Kakching Higher Secondary School Covid Care Centre as well as to ITI Kakching, SC/ST Girls' Hostel Kakching Wairi, Kha Manipur College Kakching and Kakching Makha High School CHICs.
Later, edibles were also distributed to around 550 households affected by Covid-19 in various parts of Kakching AC.
On the other hand, Eteen Computerized Eye Testing and Eye Care Centre, Thoubal Bazar proprietor Maibam Eteen on Sunday distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, eye safety guard goggles and edibles to personnel of police and traffic police deployed at Khagempali, Kwakeithel Traffic Point, Keishampat Traffic Point, Assembly Road, City Convention Centre, Uripok RIMS crossing point, Uripok side of BT flyover, Khoyathong Traffic Point and Ima Keithel.
