BJP respects elders, values youth: A Sharda

BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda has stated that the party respects its elders, while also considering the importance of preparing a good future for the youth.
On Wednesday, former BJP intending candidate of Oinam AC K Jiban, in a press meet, expressed his continued support to the party despite failing to get the ticket for contesting the upcoming state assembly election.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Sharda expressed that though the youth are reluctant to join politics they should engage in politics for the sake of future, instead of just reserving the quota for 80 years old.
BJP's focus is on the youth so as to change their prejudices towards politics and politicians.
She then said that the party respects all senior politicians, some of whom are acting as qualified advisors for the youth.
The blessings of the senior politicians are always taken whenever a task/work needs to be undertaken.
However, preparing a good future for the youth is equally important, she contended.
Stating that many intending candidates of the party are Still pledging support to the party, Sharda highlighted K Jiban's career path as the secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha and appreciated his support towards the party.
She then said that intending candidates in other constituencies have been extending cooperation to the party, while adding it is understandable for some to get upset over not getting the party ticket.
In his speech, K Jiban said that although he felt a little sad, he accepts the party's decision to give the ticket to another party candidate.
He then urged for concerted efforts towards ensuring BJP's win in the upcoming polls.
