PM to inaugurate air ambulance/dispensaries

Imphal, January 29 2018:
The State Government is taking up necessary preparations to ensure that the first ever air ambulance/dispensary service in the North East region, is launched in the State by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit in the month of March.
According to an official source, the State Government is making arrangements for a total of 19 projects to be inaugurated during the PM's visit.
The work progress report of the said projects will also reviewed by the Chief Secretary at the earliest, the source added.
The source stated that the projects include District Sports Complex (Ukhrul, Churachandpur, Chandel, Tamenglong) and Cricket Sports Complex ( Luwangshangbam), Tribal Girls Hostel (Liberal College), 400 KV substation (Thoubal), Bishnupur-Nungba road, Imphal-Jiribam road, Thoubal and Dolaithabi project, construction of women markets in the hill districts, transit hostels for teachers and doctors, Rani Gaidinliu Park, Heritage Park, Civil Secretariat and Water Supply Scheme (Kangla, Khuman Lampak and Chinga).
The Planning Department has also instructed all the Departments concerned to submit the work progress report regarding the various projects at the earliest, the source added.
