A JAC constituted in the aftermath of the discovery of the two cor-pses inside the URF's desig- nated camp at Loitang Khunou has resolved to launch different modes of intense agitation from tomorrow.
Addressing a press meet at Manipur Press Club this afternoon, JAC general secre- tary Salam Sanahanbi said that the URF's designated camp should be removed from Loi-tang Khunou immediately and those involved in killing and burying the two cadres should be given befitting punishment.
If a clear reply is not forthcoming from the side of the State Government by 10 am tomorrow, intense forms of agitation including bandh/blockade may be launched from tomorrow itself.
She said that a five-point memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister last evening.
The points highlighted in the memorandum were remo-val of URF's designated camp from Loitang Khunou, keeping away both Army and paramilitary forces from the spinning mill complex, compensation and suitable Go- vernment jobs to families of the deceased persons namely Irengbam Bodhe alias Wa-shington and Pukhrambam Somorjit alias Wahengcha, and punishment of all the cul-prits involved in murdering and burying the two cadres.
Until these demands are translated into action, the corpses would not be claimed and different modes of intense agitation would be launched.
