Union Minister Giriraj to arrive

Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh will arrive here on February 1 on a three-day visit to the State.
Giriraj Singh will inspect the food park being developed at Nillakuthi on February 1 itself and he would also visit the place identified for construction of Livelihood Business Incubator under National Small Industries Corporation.
Out of 22 Livelihood Business Incubator projects listed for the whole country, one such project would be implemented in each of the nine districts of Manipur, informed an official source.
On February 2, the Union Minister would hold a meeting with State Government officials about the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme.
He would pay a visit to Moirang INA complex and inspect some handloom and handicraft clusters before leaving for Tripura on February 3 .
Meanwhile it is reported that maximum efforts are being invested to complete construction of industrial estates at Bishnupur and Thoubal within the current financial year.
Construction of industrial estates for Ukhrul, Chandel and Churachandpur will begin in the next financial year, added the official while speaking to The Sangai Express.
